Measure the opening — width, depth and height — and then measure the path from the truck to the spot. Refrigerator doors usually need to come off to clear a 30-inch doorway, and a range needs its door swing counted.
Confirm the hookup you actually have before you buy: gas or electric for a range, and 3-prong or 4-prong for a dryer. Getting this wrong is the most common reason a delivery cannot be completed.

You can see all of it in person. Furniture Fair has seven showrooms across Eastern North Carolina — Jacksonville (Bell Fork Road and Lejeune Boulevard), New Bern, Greenville, Goldsboro, Rocky Mount and Wilmington — and this site lists only what we physically have on a floor, so what you see here is what we can deliver or hand you at the dock. Common questions
What do I need to measure before buying an appliance?
Measure the opening's width, depth and height, and then measure the delivery path — doorways, hallway turns and stairs. Refrigerator doors often have to come off to clear a 30-inch doorway.
How do I know if I need a gas or electric range?
It depends on what is already at the location. A gas range needs a gas line; an electric range needs a 240-volt outlet. Neither can be added on delivery day.
Do you deliver and install appliances?
We deliver locally across Eastern North Carolina from our seven stores, and in-store pickup is free.
